yup, i've done it again. but now times 3. i've just signed up for the bear lake 1/2 marathon (june 12th, 6 weeks from today) and the bryce canyon 1/2 marathon (july 17th), and st george full marathon (oct 2). oi. but i know i'll do the 1/2's. no problem. i'm actually really excited about them. well, bear lake will just be beautiful, and bryce will just be fun cause i'm running it with my older sister. and the st george... well my mom signed up, and my aunt is doing it... so why not. it's all just a mind set. and i'm moving back up to logan where i have my favorite runs (running through these amazing canyon trails) and just all throughout logan are treasure runs. i remember being on this 8 miler and i felt i was just running through a postcard the whole time. granted, this was 6 years ago, and i was only 23 at the time... and me being 30 soon... well, next year. but still there are 80 year olds that run marathons, and really i want to be one of them. haha. so it's just a mind set. and being here in st george this week, i've had some pretty runs down here. very hot, but fun. and i definitely want to beat my moab time. so my goal is do bear lake in 3 hours, and then do bryce in 2.5 hours. and then do the full marathon in 4.5 hours. i think that's doable right? i think so. cause if i'm gunna be gun-ho/crazy successful at school, i might as well be gun-ho/crazy successful in all aspects of my life. cause really, whats the point of doing anything if you don't do your all? there's no need to "half-ass" anything. haha, my new motto. if your gunna do something, do it right!
and i just got some new running shoes too. my old ones you could basically see my socks in the bottom. yup, there were that worn out. so i'm excited. i'll be crazy busy with all this, but it gives me stuff to look forward to and makes it easier to look forward.
