so, yup, i've moved

as you can tell from my blog title i've moved. and not to a great area. but i'll keep this positive.

marcie came out here with me, such a saint, and she with 4 guys from my future ward helped move me in. i was all moved in (unloaded) within 30 mins. insane. and how did we get in? well the girl i am taking her spot from wasn't here so one of the guys broke in. yeah. awesome. ha. it's just that easy.

but everything was unloaded so fast. returned the trailer. did some shopping at the mall in culver city. we went there for target for a bookcase and a rod for my drapes, but forever 21 was there along with H&M. so of course, must stop in. ha. but the mall is so nice! i love cali!! (def not where i live) but the weather really is that great! it's actually cold at night. cold! what??!! crazy. and this morning i went running down to the beach. well i tried. before i moved in i was told the beach is a 20 min walk away. baloney. it's a 15 min walk to the bike path and i stayed on it for 15 mins cause the urine smell was so thick i couldn't breathe/take it any longer. so no early runs to the beach. oh well.

but this is temperary. i'm going to move out as soon as i can save up money to move again. so hopefully in 8 weeks. maybe sooner. i don't think i'll be able to take this 45 min drive to work beyond 2 months. so i'm going to look in beverly hills, beverlywood and brentwood. love those areas, close to work, all nice, no crack heads. all good.

but tomorrow i start work and i'm really excited. my boss is so wonderful and my co-workers are just as great. and it's a smaller office so hopefully we'll become family like. that's how it was when i worked in ct and it was great.

but all in all, i'm getting used to the traffic. i do like california. and glad i took a chance a moved here.
