so friday was kinda a big day for brandon... he got into an art show! his first one. so kinda a big deal. it was a salon show so every inch of wall space was covered, which means tons of artists there too. the place was so packed you couldn't even move. well the time frame of the show was from 8-3. i thought it was odd to start a show at 8 in the morning. yea... cause it's not. that's 8pm to 3am! good ol' brooklyn. hahaha. but anyway i took a few photos but my phone has decided to stop working. it's the strangest thing. it deletes emails whenever it wants, shut down a lot, and now not sending photos. not a fan of the iphone 4S.
oh the art show was also a competition too. the grand prize was to get your own solo art show, and the second prize was to be in a show with only a few other artists as well. unfortunately brandon didn't win, but he made some good contacts and it's always great to get complitments. so definitely worth it be in the salon show at least.
so heres a quick 23 second video of the place. well, really just of brandons 4 paintings (the huge portraits) and my family members. haha, i had no idea i turned my camera when courtney was looking at me. hahaha. just funny.
