this is the view i got for an hour plus waiting for the u-haul. sooo happy it wasn't raining!

so my brothers are amazing. they came into the city last friday met me at 9:45 (which is huge cause they like to sleep in until 2pm) and helped me move all my stuff, furniture, everything out to ct. seriously, it was the best day cause they helped me. and they didn't act like they minded or anything. it was a great day cause of them. but... the funny story... so i was driving the van back into the city and the drop off place is on 35th between 9th and 10th. so i'm at the corner of 36th and 9th, about to make the turn to return the vehicle, and all of a sudden the right lane i'm in turns into the lincohn tunnel. uuuhhh there's no way i wanted to go on that! and there was no sinage or anything. literally just all of sudden there were the orange cones pushing me into the tunnel. well luckily there was a little break in the cones, so i just went straight... and just my luck there were 2, not 1 but 2(!!) cop cars behind me. of course i get pulled over, and get slapped with a ticket. yeah ... in all my life i've never mastered the act of "getting out of a ticket". that just doesn't work for me. so long story short i got a ticket basically 10 feet away from the drop off place for the u-haul. classic.
