I'm so excited

in just two weeks i'll be heading off to go to the newport mansions out in rhode island. i went a few years ago, or 8, whatever, and i'm yeah! i'm excited. i know how great it is, so i know what i'm in for. can, not, wait.

aunt debbie, the next time you all are on the east coast you must take a day and go see them! you loving downton abbey, would love this. all these homes are from around that era with the vanderbilts, and rockefellers and just the thought that these mansions were their summer homes. crazy.

what i'm looking forward too....

1. sit at a cafe in paris and people watch
2. bike around ireland, see the castles
3. take a train across europe
4. visit LA - done, memorial weekend, 2009
5. go snowboarding in vermont
6. go to DC, see the sites- done! after my dc interview, 10/26/09
7. go up to the top of the empire state building- did top of the rock (8/7/09) so, same view. i'm counting it.
8. take the circle line around the statue of liberty- done, did the staten island ferry, and a yacht around the hudson, so i'm counting it.
9. visit greece, athens
10. go hiking in peru
11. do the subway in st. george
12. go white water rafting
13. attend sundace film festival, see at lease one show
14. attend the tribecca film festival, DONE!! saw a norweigan film- so cool
15. race in a 10k
16. run a 1/2 marathon in hawaii, DONE! i did the Canyonland 1/2 Marathon in Moab, 3/20/10
17. run the london marathon
18. run the boston (if i can qualify) marathon
19. work out for 4x a week for 2 months solid - done
20. work less. don't work over 50hrs a week- haha, done, seeing how I work 0 hours a week! haha
21. take the classical architecture seminar in summer 09
22. go camping in moab
23. read 5 books from the ny times best sellers
24. put some money away to saving each paycheck for at least 6 months

25. eat a different type of cusine each month for 6 months
26. see the nyc ballet - done
27. see an opera - done
28. run from the george washington bridge to over the brooklyn bridge
29. visit london - done
30. see rascall flatts in concert
31. see a basketball game in madison square garden
32. see a met's game and or yankee game
33. see wicked- done! june, 2009. amazing!!
34. see the lion king (on broadway)
35. play tennis at least 10 times (0/10)
36. take a surfing lesson
37. visit marcie in hawaii
38. go to the shakespear fesitval in central park
39. see 2 movies at bryant park (0/2)
40. go explore tudor city in nyc - done! it was great
41. go explore the upper east side, gracie mansion area
42. go to the frick museum- DONE it's amazing
43. go to duck beach
44. eat at tavern on the green
45. eat at gramercy tavern
46. go on the tourist double decker bus in the city - DONE
47. go to top of the rock - done! 8/7/09
48. go ice skating in rockefeller center
49. spend a whole day in the west village/tribecca- DONE!!
50. spend a whole day in soho/little italy
51. spend a whole day in the financial district, battery park- done. loved it.
52. write 10 real letters, and mail them (4/10)
53. call my grandparents once a month for 6 months straight -in progress, started 9/2010
54. update my resume and send it out to: london, paris, rome, boston, dc, baltimore, san diego, beverly hills, san fransico, oregon, seattle- done and done
55. attend fashion week at bryant park
56. spend the day as follows: go running in central park, go eat brunch at sarah beths, go to the met, walk up madion ave - do window shopping, go out to dinner downtown go see a broadway show
57. go camping on a beach
58. explore brooklyn, give it a chance- brooklyn tour bus, yeah i could live in cobble hill, brooklyn heights or park slope... but it's still brooklyn. ha
59. go to the botanical gardens done! it's amazing 5/30/09
60. visit the nyc transit museum
61. go to a gallery opening - done. it was awesome, and no surprisingly not pretencious
62. buy a pair of desil jeans
63. buy something gucci, anything
64. buy an oscar de lorenta dress, and wear it to dinner downtown
65. get a massage (this is huge, seeing how i have a bubble)
66. go to "the lighting of the tree" the rockefellor tree
67. go kayaking around the statue of liberty
68. go scuba diving
69. start a photo/details of nyc folder for references
70. visit philly - done! 8/1/09 the city's awesome
71. eat a lobster (never had it before) in maine
72. go to a real, professional make-up artist learn how to wear make-up
73. start drawing again
74. paint a picture - done. painted the "apple" in august, 2010
75. write a short story, send it to random house to be published
76. buy a nice photo camera, and on my world travels take pictres then create a coffe table book with all my photographs
77. walk the great wall of china
78. see casa bastilo by gaudi in barcelona
79. travel abroad with callie
80. go to a kickboxing class at my gym
81. do a week of spinning
82. see the louve
83. go out to dinner with courtney once a month
84. see something in carnige hall
85. buy autocad
86. start giving private lessons for autocad
87. start freelancing, done, started Oct '10
88. build up clientel, start own practic/firm
89. learn french ( started learning 6.22.09)
90. take a cake decorating class
91. see fourth of july fireworks from the east river, with the statue of liberty right there
92. go to ellis island
93. explore time out's nyc 50 best blocks
94. see a wimbeldon match
95. date a doctor- done. oh so fun.
96. date a lawyer
97. date an investment banker - done. loved it.
98. date a hedge fund guy- done! was really good.
99. see kenny chesney in concert
100. see john mayor in concert
101. see a comedy act- done! i got hecked 3 times, but 3 different comedians... oh the joys. haha
