the play... not broadway.. nope, guess again... the Sandy, UT 8th grade production! hahah. why did i go? oh cause i love that story. i actually asked for the movie for christmas this year. so i was really jazzed to go see it. well we get there to this massive auditorium (would put wiltons little theater to shame) and within 2 mins i realized what i had gotten myself into. but all in all it was great. the best part was after the show...
so everyone was leaving for their cars (picture huge amounts of people with all sizes/ages of kids in the long hallway leading to parking lot) and as we are being herded through the halls this short stout woman with back frizzy/curly hair screams out into the entire crowd of families:
"your daughters a lesbian! you keep your daughter away from my daughter! you a-hole!"
OH, MY, GOSH! did that really just happen? infront of all these family's with all these little kids?? i was ticked. and not only was she screaming obscenities, but she was attacking a little child too of being a lesbian. and i remember middle school. not the fondest years of my life. why would you want to be called that by obviously a psychotic parent?
it was really terrible, but also made the night a whole lot more interesting!
