thanksgiving 2011. that's when i've made my first cake from scratch, no box involved. and it was so easy! i made a pumpkin spice cake with a cream cheese frosting (holy moly talk about dense and fattening but delicious!) i found a tutorial online and it was suppose to look like this:
so pretty right? that's why i was so excited to try this. stunning. well this is what it turned out like:

haha, i found this cookie monster fiasco on pinterest. it makes me laugh every time cause that's normally how my stuff comes out compared to the pictures. hahaha. but the cake still tasted amazing even though it didn't look perfect.
