Update:

my stupid 3D project was due today. thank goodness!!! oh man that was a misery. next project i'm either going to make a sculpture out of jolly ranchers or this felt stuff. can't decide yet. i don't do abstract. so, it's going to be a rough semester.

but some kids came into the lab last week and i was showing them some stuff on the computer. it really, really made me miss work. so i've decided that during my work out there i'm going to work on my portfolio. i think i'll make a .... oooh french cathau or however you spell that. something that you feel as if you stepped into paris. and speaking of Paris, there's a study aboard program i just heard about today. it lasts for a month and you go to all over Germany, Paris, and one other place. don't think i could do it. well, if i ever do start working with Louisiana i totally could. but i don't see that happening anytime soon.

and i've got my first test for fchd on thursday that i'm procrastinating right now. i really haven't even studied in this room i'm in right now, since this last summer. ha. but, i talked to a good friend over the weekend (a girl i used to work with in ct) and she reminded me of how much i missed work too. she just got a promotion and is now managing two projects (big money ones) so good job Elizabeth!

but that's it. nothing fun in my life. just school. oh i went and saw the raunchiest movie the other week. i walked out on it. called, going to the distance. it's the one with drew barrymore and it's about a long distance relationship. and from the previews it looked cute. well... they certainly don't make "cute" movies anymore. they really don't. everything now is just curroded with crude nasty filth. guess i'll just be sticking to pixar films. and speaking of which, i googled them the other night to see about job opportunities. cause i think that would be really fun and interesting to do for a summer. and i think it really would, but i need to have another year under my belt before applying. so maybe next summer if i can't get internships across the sea.

things to go look forward to: going to st george here a week from friday. that is if i can. i don't get off work until 5, putting me in provo around 7:30/8 so if callie and grant can wait for me that long then i can hitch a ride with them. if not, then i wont be going.

another thing to look forward to: oct 14-17 fall break. we only get friday off, but thursday is friday schedule and i don't have any classes on friday. just work. so that'll be nice. that would be a perfect time for you granny and aunt debbie to come check out logan, and bear lake. with all the beautiful tree foliage. haha, hint, hint. hahaha.

another thing to look forward to: oct 26th. seeing austin for the last time before he goes on his mission. i've got a math test the next day so hopefully i'll be able to see him for a few hours in slc or something. meet halfway.

another thing to look forward to: christmas break! then this semester will be done and one step closer to being outta here! oooh that's the best part of all. but then i'll have to start studing for the GRE. so yeah, not so fun. but i've already got some fun plans for break. going up to boston with court, and going into the city with elizabeth. yeah i definitely miss the city sometimes.
